Welcome!
Well, September seems to have flown by. I had the best of intentions to have an email out ahead of Oktoberfest in Tatamagouche - I hope that everyone who partook had a great time. I would love to have some of your pictures from Oktoberfest in years gone by.
This past weekend I popped into the Balmoral Grist Mill to see whole wheat flour being milled, and was so pleased that the timing worked out. The Museum closes for the season on Oct 3rd if you haven’t been recently, it’s worth a look.
Next up on my list of favorite activities this time of year is the Fall Colours event at Bike Wentworth - Amanda G was the winner of a free lift pass to enjoy the event this year. If you haven’t been out to take part, I highly recommend it … hard to argue with a lift up a hill and then a lovely amble down :)
As we move towards Thanksgiving, there are many opportunities to support our local food bank - TriCounty Ford is hosting a “Fill the Ranger” event, there are collection boxes at both the Post Office and Foodland, and Tata Regional Academy is also receiving personal hygiene supplies, snacks and more.
