Bring on summer

June 5, 2026

Creeping phlox at the corner of our house - I smile every time I see it.

Welcome!

It seems to be bear season … a family of bears have been making nocturnal visits with hopes of liberating our bird feeder again, and when they can’t manage that, they’ve been shredding the screens on our windows. If only our cats could talk …

I suspect we won’t see much of the bears once the strawberries are ripe at Mountain Farms U-pick - they hope to be open late June/early July. Soon my friends!

Lots of summer fun coming your way, enjoy!
