Graduations, Strawberries, Canada Day & Summer Fun
June 27, 2025

It has been getting harder to choose my favourite flower picture of the past two weeks :)

Welcome!
Wow, it has been hot along the North Shore! It’s time for strawberries, patio time and getting out to local events. Congrats as well to everyone involved in local proms and graduations - best wishes in your future endeavours.
In the last issue, I asked you to tell me about your favourite colour of rose, and I was very surprised to learn that so many of you would rank ‘yellow’ at the top of your list! (Congrats to Alyson S. and Marie D. who won rose bushes!) That made me think back to The Yellow Rose Restaurant on Hwy 6 between Malagash and Wallace - does anyone have a story or picture to share? What a wicked corner to be navigating those longer models of cars.
My thanks go out to everyone who has shared their events, news ‘nuggets’ and feedback. I am also thrilled to have more advertisers joining us for the print edition of The Nuggets - it’s my plan to have the next one out in early July.
Race to 1000 - We’re at 844 subscribers! Each time we add 100 subscribers, we will have a draw for a prize from a local business. All subscribers will be entered in the draw, and if you have referred someone by forwarding this email and them subscribing, you will receive a bonus ballot. Please share :)
