New record - we picked 8 quarts in less than 15 minutes! What a great crop

Welcome!

So, earlier this week, I heard someone say that they had had their fill of strawberry shortcake for the year … what went through my head is not fit for print. How is that possible?? We had a great time picking our own at Mountain Farm earlier this week, but there can’t be too many more days in their season (check Facebook or call 902-351-2821 for daily updates). What’s your favourite way to eat strawberries?

I am also interested in learning more about The Yellow Rose Restaurant on Hwy 6, and other local restaurants that are just memories. Please feel free to drop me a line with your stories/pictures.

Huge congrats to the cast and crew of ‘Halfway There’ - if you haven’t seen it, I hope that you can get tickets for the last couple of shows. Really enjoyed it.

As always, my thanks go out to everyone who has shared their events, news ‘nuggets’ and feedback. I am also thrilled to have more advertisers joining us for the print edition of The Nuggets - I’ve just sent the PDF off to the printers and hope to have it in the mail soon.
