Daffodils & Lobster traps

Warmer weather

Anyone who knows us knows that the arrival of the daffodils is highly anticipated. Have you noticed things being a bit behind ‘normal’ this Spring?

Ashton’s Garden Centre - 125 Upper River John Rd, Tatamagouche. Opening May 3rd at 9am for our 5th season! Open Daily 10-4, Saturdays 9-5. Mothers Day Daffodil Walk - Sunday, May 11th. Fairy Walk - May 17th & 18th.

Welcome!

Another busy couple of weeks on the North Shore. As the maple season wraps up for the year, and the last pancake suppers have taken place, it’s time to start thinking about lobster! Best wishes to all of the local fishers for a safe and successful season.

As of this morning we had just tipped over 700 subscribers to our email list! Congrats to Michelle R. who was the winner of our 7th subscriber draw! I made the first six subscriber draws before Easter … congrats to all of the winners: Peter L, Diane I, Michael W, G Thompson, Michael J, Valerie G. Thank you to Earltown General Store, Tatamagouche Brewing Co, and Sisterhood Fibres for their prize donations which supplemented gift cards purchased from local restaurants.

Race to 1000 - Each time we add 100 subscribers, we will have a draw for a prize from a local business. All subscribers will be entered in the draw, and if you have referred someone by forwarding this email and them subscribing, you will receive a bonus ballot. Please share :)
